Competitive Play

All our competitive offerings are done using scheduling software through the website Pickleball Den. CPC provides its members with an annual subscription to the Den. Players may be required to pay an admin fee through their account on this website to be given access to some Den offerings. For our ladders, players may add or delete themselves from a signup up to 24 hours prior to the event; no need for subs. Event times are subject to change, usually based on the weather, time of year or our contract with the county. If there is a cancellation, typically due to the weather, we will try to notify everyone 1 hour prior to the event.

Organized Club Play

Organized pickleball play format will change periodically based on feedback and to keep the sessions fun. Signing up for an event is a commitment to play. Please keep track of your scheduled play. Repeated absences or tardiness will result in removal from participation.

Monday Evening Info: Our highest level of play (high intermediate-advanced) whose structure may change week-to-week. Currently this group is using the Major League Pickleball format. Teams of men and women compete against other teams of similar skill level, in gender doubles and mixed doubles.

Tuesday Evening Info: It is a fun, up & down format in 1 night. The scores from the previous week do not carry over to the next. Players are assigned a new court each week by drawing a random card from a deck. The games use regular scoring & are timed with 15 point limit or 15 minutes of play, whichever comes first. Partners will then move up or down & split. Partnerships are assigned by coin toss. Signup is limited to 20 but there is a waitlist feature. Players may add or delete themselves up to 24 hours prior to the event….no need for subs. Players are grouped in 4's....for example: if you sign up & you are player 17 or 18, you may not be playing if everyone shows up or you could share a spot with another player. Both signups are capped at 20, for a maximum of 5 courts.

This offering is meant to mix things up a bit, offer something new, hopefully help people laugh. Looking forward to this next round!

Wednesday Morning Info: A more traditional, competitive ladder, using regular scoring and is open to all levels. Scores are recorded and determine players’ court assignments the following week. This is a 6-week long offering for experienced players.

Wednesday Evening Info: This is organized play for new players still learning the sport. The goal of this group is to meet other learners in a fun but competitive environment. The scoring format may change depending on the dynamics of the group attending. Some more seasoned players do participate to help the newer players learn court positioning and strategy.

Our events may have a 1-time participation fee, which will need to be paid through your account on this site, prior to having access to the signup schedule in PB Den.
