Competitive Play
CPC provides its members with a variety of organized play options at various levels of skill & intensity. We lease 5 courts at Mowbray Park March 1st - Nov. 30th. The times change based on the season. In Spring and Fall it is as follows: Mon 8 am-10 am & 6:30-8:30 pm, Tues 9 am-11 am & 6:30-8:30 pm, Wed 9 am-11 am & 6:30-8:30 pm, Thurs 9:30 am-11:30 am & 5-7 pm, and Fri 9 am-11 am & 6:30-8:30pm. In Summer it is as follows: Mon 8 am-10 am & 6:30-8:30 pm, Tues 9 am-11 am & 6:30-8:30 pm, Wed 8 am-10 am & 6:30-8:30 pm, Thurs 9:30 am-11:30 am & 5-7 pm, and Fri 8 am-11 am & 6:30-8:30pm. A nominal player fee, paid through this website, may be required to access some of our events. Event times are subject to change, usually based on the weather, time of year of our contract with the county. If there is a cancellation, typically due to the weather, we will try to notify everyone 1 hour prior to the event.
Organized Club Play
Organized pickleball play format will change periodically based on feedback and to keep the sessions fun.
Monday Morning Info (3.5 and under players)
A mixed level, morning league for 3.5 and below players. A card is drawn and to get an assigned court. You then move up or down based on whether you win or lose your games.
Monday Evening Info (3.5+ players)
An intermediate-advanced ladder. A card is drawn and to get an assigned court. You then move up or down based on whether you win or lose your games.
Tuesday Evening Info (3.0-3.5)
A low-intermediate to intermediate ladder. A card is drawn and to get an assigned court. You then move up or down based on whether you win or lose your games.
Wednesday Morning Info (3.0+)
A ladder for 3.5+ level players. In this ladder, players are ranked based on their average points scored in a given session. That ranking determines court assignments week to week. This is a 6-week long offering for experienced players.
Wednesday Evening Info (2.0-3.0)
A novice/beginner ladder. A card is drawn and to get an assigned court. You then move up or down based on whether you win or lose your games.. Some more seasoned players do participate to help the newer players learn court positioning and strategy. The participants are expected to know how to serve and keep score.
Thursday Evening Info (3.75+) This is our highest level of play. An advanced ladder with varying play & scoring formats. Participation requires approval by club pro, Dave Haber.
All ladder/leagues are organized on their individual TeamReach groups. Signup is limited but there is a waitlist feature. Players may add or delete themselves up to 24 hours prior to the event and the next on the waitlist will be moved in to play.
We appreciate all our event organizers and respect the time they sacrifice weekly to provide activities for our club members; therefore, If you do not show up for your scheduled ladder and do not communicate with your ladder captain, you will be suspended from participation for the rest of that session. Signing up for an event is a commitment to play.
Our events may have a 1-time participation fee, which will need to be paid through your account on this site, prior to having access to the appropriate TeamReach signup calendar.
